Astana, Kazakhstan has signed the Solar Power project, worth of 320 Million Dollars, in Four Phase, were each phase having worth of 80 Million Dollars.
Ground Mounted 200 MG/WATT Solar Power Projects in Kazakhstan with opportunity to increase it to 300 MG/WATT.
On 3rd February 2020, Al Development (100% Rooia Subsidiary) has signed PPA, Power Purchase Agreement for 15 years+ (15 years automatic renewal ) from Commercial Operation Date (COD). Off taker is Jazin K.A., fully government owned company in Kazakhstan.
Plant capacity 200 Mg/wtt with opportunity to be increased to 300 as part of the developer responsibility.
The Plant will be located in Almaty, Village of Kokpek.
There is not any specific requirement for the Commercial Operation Date (COD) The Concession Period will be 15 years from the COD Payment will be in local tenge (KZT). The price of electricity will be fixed at –0.6$– All tax (import duties, custom duties, commercial tax, withholding tax, etc.) shall be paid as part of the project finance but the developer will try to wave them out according to the investment laws The change in the fixed tariff as a result of its indexation or the order of indexation of a fixed tariff coordinated with the Seller shall be formalized by signing an additional agreement. Every October the government will review the Currency fluctuation and will increase according to the changes. With the same rate . If required .
The total area of the plot on which the power plant is located is 496 Hectares.
Feasibility study ,finance, construction and operation of the PV plant the electrical connection is approved as part of the developer work . The max volts to the connection is 500 v . Substation according to the site requirement ? the land : is awarded years 15 as per the Kazakhstan laws(will be renewed to similar period) . And the developer has the rights to use it for the total project period. the transmission line right of way : the outside line will be done by the government we should connect up to the transformer only.
